Beautiful upgrade, miss the calendar

This is a stunning visual and feature upgrade, well worth the re-investment. The ability to orient the phone in both horizontal and vertical positions for many features is very nice improvement. I do miss the event calendar though; so, keeping both versions on my phone and hope that returns in an update.

Great software - Augmented Reality needs a tweak

Its great to be able to point the app at things and see what they are. The details of Celestial bodies and the SkyLive is nice and useful. Only gripe is that the Augmented Reality view is rarely lining up and no way to access the iPhone Compass Calibration to remedy.

I would give it 5 but...

The coordinates seem to be off quite a bit. Ive calibrated my phone and app quite a few times. My iPhone compass is right on but this app is off. Other than that.. I do love all that this app has to offer.

Great App!

Would recommend it to everyone into astronomy!

Will not update I my iPhone 6.

I like the app but for the past few weeks an update has been showing up in my app update file. I see the update is for the iwatch. Why then has it been on the iPhone update for weeks if it is not to be updated? Or, is there an issue with my phone?

Update broke the Apple Watch companion app

Love this app, but the most recent update broke the Apple Watch functionality. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled and that made no difference.

Ursa Major

Update needed. 3-d images Ursa major, Ursa minor and Leo figs are backwards. The figures heads are where the tails should be. It is bothersome when showing to a class. Hopefully they can be fixed. I cannot recommend to my classes until fixed.

Version 2.1.4 crash the  watch app

We hope for a new update to fix this problem.

For constellation only

Listed price is only good for constellation search. Want to search for Pluto? It wont even show you its location unless you paid the in-app purchase. Charging extra for pretty 3D object is reasonable. But deactivate the searching functionality of the star chart is greedy and makes it a limited but may not be useless to some star chart. Good thing that my telescope got its own computer to find where they are.

Not easy to use

If you just want something that will help you track the whereabouts of the moon, dont get this app. Its not obvious how to do anything with it other than to purchase add-ons, and the "tutorial" is really more of an ad.

YOU NEED THIS

If you are a human being, you absolutely NEED to experience this app!!!!! By far the best app you could have on your phone. Just to put yourself into perspective of where you live is very fulfilling. Not only this, but you can also learn a lot about the things around you.

Not working correctly

When I try to use any of the additional content, it will not work. Otherwise it is a good app.

Miss

My favorite app--ever.

Better than Sky Guide

I just did a side-by-side comparison of this app and Sky Guide and found that this app provides more information on a wider range of space objects than Sky Guide did and that was without purchases the in-app purchases for Sky Walk 2. Id would recommend this app over Sky Guide for that reason though both are still great apps.

Worth every penny.

I use this app all the time, so I must enjoy it.

When will juno be displayed?

I love the app but juno has to be updated onto this app, otherwise perfect app

I dont get it

I pay $5-6 dollars for this app and you have the nerve to lock more content behind a $3 paywall.

Excellent

I have always enjoyed being a star gazer! This app allows you to pin point the planets that you are looking for you telescope!

Beautiful graphics

The sky comes alive, day or night; and I can spin the sky to explore and not have to stand on my head and orient it correctly to see other surrounding areas. Nice job!
